Alyssa Black, MSW-I
Alyssa graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Family Life Studies from Utah State University in 2019. She is currently working towards her Master of Social Work at the University of Utah. Prior to beginning her MSW, Alyssa worked as a crisis case manager for children, youth, and families, which fueled her desire to become a clinician. Alyssa is trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), SFT (Solution Focused Therapy), and clinical work for grief and loss. She enjoys treating trauma, NOJOS, and any other struggles clients face.
In her free time, Alyssa enjoys to read a good book, watch a good show (NCIS and other crime shows are her favorites), create art, and spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys a good nap, petting dogs, baking, and eating said baked goods.
