Gabby Aufderheide, MSW-I
Harrisville
Telehealth

Gabby Aufderheide is an MSW Intern who brings warmth, integrity, and a spark of playfulness to her clinical work. She is deeply committed to nurturing strong connections and investing in the well-being of her communities. Known for her honest communication and grounded presence, Gabby also believes that healing work should include space for silliness and joy.
Gabby earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon, where she double majored in Biology and Women and Gender Studies, graduating with departmental honors in WGS. Her professional journey began in public health, conducting HIV prevention research at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She later moved to Utah to work in wilderness therapy, where she spent three years helping clients reconnect with themselves through nature-based experiences. Since then, she has worked in adult substance use residential care and currently serves at an intensive outpatient program focused on OCD and anxiety, where she’s been for the past two years.
Gabby is passionate about walking alongside individuals on their emotional journeys. She finds deep meaning in supporting people through hardship and vulnerability, and witnessing their transformation into empowered, capable versions of themselves. She especially enjoys working with young adults navigating the transition into adulthood—a time she sees as rich with self-exploration and growth. That said, she values the diversity of working with clients across the lifespan and appreciates the unique perspectives each person brings.
Outside of her clinical work, Gabby thrives in the outdoors. She plays and coaches ultimate frisbee, lifts weights, mountain bikes, and goes backpacking whenever she can. Her energy, curiosity, and commitment to growth infuse every aspect of her life and practice.
