Melissa Anderson is a Master of Social Work intern in Logan, known for her energetic presence, sharp wit, and deep dedication to helping others navigate life’s toughest moments. A self-proclaimed coffee-fueled force of will, Melissa brings real-life experience and a refreshingly honest approach to her work with clients.
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Utah State University in 2024 and is currently pursuing her MSW at Boise State University. Before stepping into the therapy world, she worked as a critical care tech at Logan Regional Hospital and completed a school counseling internship at Box Elder Middle School. Most recently, she served as a Juvenile Probation Officer with Utah’s First District Court, supporting youth in high-stakes situations.
Motivated by her own experiences with trauma, Melissa is passionate about providing support where it matters most—especially for those who feel isolated or overwhelmed. She enjoys connecting with people of all ages and has a particular soft spot for adolescents, finding joy in their candid reasoning and unique outlooks.
Whether she’s out riding motocross, training horses, working on a mechanical project, or snowboarding down a mountainside, Melissa thrives in motion and finds strength in nature, action, and humor. Her down-to-earth, relational style helps clients feel seen and supported as they work toward healing and growth—one real conversation at a time.
