Tami Paxton

Clinical Director & Co-Founder

Tami is the Clinical Director and co-founder of Quality Youth Services. She received her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 1999 from Weber State University, then completed her Master of Social Work degree in 2000 from the University of Denver. Tami supervises all therapists and student therapists, helping each develop their skills and help their clients.



Tami is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). She specializes in working with adolescents, families, and couples. She specializes in NOJOS (Network on Juveniles Offending Sexually) work, trauma, depression, anxiety, and addictions. Tami currently sits on the NOJOS board for the State of Utah. She also is an adjunct instructor for Utah State University and enjoys providing community education for other local universities.



Aside from clinical work, Tami enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her family. A little-known fact about Tami is that she loves plain hospital cafeteria mashed potatoes!
