Melissa Orton, CSW
Logan
Telehealth

Melissa Orton offers a deeply compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. Her flexible approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), allowing her to tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual—whether they’re navigating anxiety, school-related stress, or complex experiences within systems like NOJOS.
Melissa works with both teens (ages 13–18) and adults, and is especially passionate about supporting those who feel underserved or misunderstood. She brings experience working with clients from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds and affirms non-binary and LGBTQ+ identities. Melissa welcomes faith-informed perspectives while honoring each person’s individual journey.
She earned her degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals and began practicing in 2025. Melissa will receive her Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) credential in August of that year. Her work is grounded in empathy, fresh perspective, and a commitment to meaningful progress—one step at a time.
If you’ve felt let down by therapy before, Melissa understands how hard it can be to try again. Her goal is to create a space where you can show up just as you are: no masks, no judgment—just real support for real people. Seeking help is a courageous first step. Melissa is here to walk beside you as you move forward.
